Vertex Cotton LLP is a women-led manufacturer in Ahmedabad that turns textile waste back into cotton fibre, supplies open-end cotton yarn and makes surgical cotton wool.
Our business model
Our founders started in the textile industry in 1995. Under the leadership of Monisha Nanavati, Vertex Cotton has grown into a vertically integrated enterprise with manufacturing facilities, trading connections and the trust of exporters.
Our manufacturing units keep abreast of the latest technological developments and innovate to match market trends in quality and choice. Equipment and processes are replaced or refurbished whenever our customers' requirements call for it.
Our team
Co-founder
Hailing from a family of industrialists and reputed doctors, Monisha grew up with the spirit of entrepreneurship and social service. Her mother headed a Lalbhai Group textile mill, which paved the way for Monisha's entry into manufacturing. A decade and a half in textiles and allied chemicals led her to establish her own manufacturing unit, Vertex Cotton, with the environment as the prime concern.

Recycled cotton fibre, open-end cotton yarn and surgical cotton wool, made in Gujarat.
Vertex Cotton is a green initiative to utilise used clothing and textile waste to once again make cotton fibre, which is re-used to make cloth. It prevents the dumping of such waste in landfills and saves precious water and earth.
